Modified my filter

I guess my fancy idea about bio filter box in the prefilter container doesn't work. Removed bio filter box, and put bio media directly in my 150 gallon prefilter which also has anoxic pot (liter clay + laterite + some plants). Increased water flow through filter box.. (2000+ gallon/hr). Amazingly, my ammonia reading is down almost to 0..
