update of AXia and HongYe (autumn)

AXia ,, when we just pull it out of filter box in Auguest, it was 7" now 9"




HongYe when we bought from petsmart, it was 4.5.. now 6" but some beni are weak.

last week, we also got JuHua

We got JuHua 4.5 inch $7.99 .. tail is very thin but good pattern

14" Koma from Sacramento koi

Yesterday, we went to Sacramento Koi.. Bought Koma for $125 14" looks like Nisai. I thought it was Sanke, but on dealer called it Showa. After reviewing the picture, I do see a black mark on the mouth area.

Got more koi

Per Kai, we don't have enough red color in our pond. Champion is starting to lose color big time... and Alice is going to college next year, we are only going to have the budget of Petsmart! So I went to Elk grove's Petsmart, got Elk Grove from gold fish tank, $5.99


Elk Grove was very lonely, he need a friend, so next day, we went to Citrus heights, find 九月. He is 5" $12.99



Next day, we need to get some food for the little 九月 and Elk grove, so we went to Arden, and found Autumn. ..4.5inch $7.99

阿下 now and then

I had 阿下 from petsmart last year (2010 fall).. and didn't like it, so I throw it to my filter box (anoxic filter system) This weekend, per Kai's request, we dig throw the filter, and relocated 阿下 to the normal pond, he/she is 7" compare with its sibling 阿上 who is at least 9-10 inches (will post picture once I can catch it). But 阿下's color is improved very nicely! Noticing that he got lots of secondary hi, I never put any food in filter box, so it was on algae all the time and somehow enhanced its color.

2011 Geisha is 17" now!

Geisha 14" I still cannot decide if its female or male



Roseville 12.5" More and more looks like goshiki .. seems female too.
